On St. Patrick's Day

Laying under the sky
after a grey Winter's reign,
I feel the gentle March sun on my skin,
and hear the first birds sing:
the earth seems new again.

Green shoots grow despite the ground
still cold from the melted snow.
Purple and gold crocuses let out a warm sigh,
"Spring,"
Hope is eternal.

First snowdrops and crocuses of Spring.

Germination.

In my Burpee seedling tray: Lavender, Basil, Geranium, Painted Daisy, Petunia, Impatient, Purple Cornflower, Giant Moonflower.
They are nestled happily next to a window that gives them warm sun to grow. I planted the seeds just 5 days ago.

Tangled Yoke Cardigan

I'm almost at the garter ribbed bottom. I have modified TYC to be knit top-down, all in the round with a steek [ravlink].

More soon: Spring is active.
